Pioneer Late Mr. Motaram Dugar laid the foundation of this organization in 1905 A.D at an interior village 'Lakhiganj Bazar' in Dhubri district of Assam (an eastern state of India) with a very small business operation, which has now blossomed into a multi-dimensional and multi-locational business organization.

Inspite of very limited resources at his disposal, he had strong commitment for excellence. However due to early demise of Mr. Motaram, the responsibilities of the business fell on the tender shoulders of Mr. Surajmal Dugar, the only son, who was in his teens then.

Mr. Surajmal Dugar, whose only inspiration and guidance was his mother Smt. Meera Devi, rose to the occasion and fulfilled the aspirations of his mother. Meera Devi infused in him boldness, honesty and integrity. with his great enterpreneurship skills, he expandad the business activities of the organization leaps and bounds, which laid foundation for its significant growth in the years to come.
